Notation 2: On most records, of the children, the mother is most often listed as Ellen. On Hugh Hayes's death record the mother was listed "Nellie". The Ireland Death Index record also shares Ellen. I forget to note where I found Eleanora as her longer, or more formal, first name thought.
Notation 3: I got vague dates of birth and death from other trees, but I can't quite fully "peg down" those dates or locations as of this point in time. The marriage records are all over the place with the site-shared transcriptions of her name, with "Easter" being one. In the 1850 US Census, her named is shared as "Esther" there. In my tree I suppose one could say I "went with the crowd" and have her shared in it as "Easter Stice".

The Andrew Patterson, whom I descend from, appears to be from Pennsylvania and by 1840 he went to Illinois where he married twice and died in Scott County, Illinois in 1861.
Notation 2: I got the date of birth from his Find A Grave memorial page and one world tree sites' entries, but referring to Notation 1 about him being confused by some with another Andrew J(ackson) Patterson who lived/married/died in another state - I am not certain if this is his birth date in terms of month, day and year.
Notation 3: Name of child taken from photo of headstone shared on FindAGrave's site.
Notation 4: Possibly had at least two brothers, James and Joseph Patterson. These two males, and one with his wife and daughter, are listed as part of Andrew's household for 1850 Census in Scott County, Illinois.
