Carol A. Wells-Perlaky's Notations:
Notation 1: Most often listed, without sources, as to passing in Roane County, Tennessee, United States or Tennessee, United States. However, given his children, post-marriage, resided in, and around, Scott County, Illinois, United States area in with the 1850 U.S. Census has him listed being in the household of one of his sons, plus receiving a Military Warrant in 1852 for 80 acres of land in Scott County, it leans more toward, after his wife's death in 1845, that Alexander Howard remained, and passed away, in Illinois, United States. Also there's a probate record for an Alexander Howard filed in Scott County, Illinois. I have not come across info for his burial location, but it may be he was also buried in Canatsey Cemetery and his grave was unmarked or his headstone is too damaged/missing?
Notation 2: Share DNA matches with some this person's known children's descendants.
