Carol A. Wells-Perlaky's Notations:
Notation 1: Jane Thompson is with Robert Curry in the 1850 US Census. Her relationship has been transcribed as "implied" relationship of a daughter named Jane aged 33 years. The particular census taker's handwriting had their "3"'s being pretty similar to how they wrote their number "5"'s, however Jane's line lists her birthplace as North Carolina which hints this is Jane Thompson, aged 53/55 years in age in the household with Robert.
Notation 2: The Robert Curry, who married Jane Thompson in 1832, in Vigo county, Indiana, is not the same Robert Curry who married Artimesia Hill, in 1834 in Mercer county, Kentucky. Jane is still alive and in same household with Robert Curry in the 1850 US Census and looks as though, given the names in the 1850 household, she may have had only one child with Robert Curry. The Robert Curry, who married "Polly" Skinner in 1811 in Mercer County, Kentucky, had a daughter named Artimesia Curry who married in Mercer county, Kentucky and later died in Kentucky, which tilts the scales - in my mind - to her father was not the Robert Curry who married Jane Thompson in 1831. It appears that the Robert Curry, who is in Sullivan county's 1850 US census, did have a prior marriage that resulted in at least 3 children, as their birth estimates predate his marriage to Jane Thompson, but I don't know "who", "when" and/or "where".
Notation 3: At this time, I haven't located an 1860 or 1870 US census with Robert Curry and/or Jane Thompson Curry appearing in it. I also have not come across any death notices, estate/probate adverts, death/burial records for either one of the two. In terms of Mary, Robert B., and Eliner/Eleanor Curry - I can only find censuses for Robert B. Curry and his later burial but nothing for Mary or Eliner/Eleanor Curry after the 1850 US Census. Robert B. Curry doesn't appear to have ever married.
Notation 4: Included as part of my research - but only due to show "yes, I looked there, and yes - I saw it". The information shared by this source either conflicts with itself and/or lacks sources to help back some/any of it up with. For example, the Find A Grave pages sharing Robert and Jane Thompson were buried in Mercer County, Kentucky but "Burial details unknown" and no mention of any sources to help share they were buried there versus in Indiana or that Jane or having the children listed on those pages ... and the FamilySearch one world tree page for Robert Curry currently has him listed with 2 different sets of parents and 3 wives, [also currently] has him listed to passing in 1851 but having children up to 1856 with Artimesia Hill - so conflicts with the later children's birth years and/or him being in Sullivan County, Indiana in 1850 and also with him and Jane being together in that 1850 census/her stated to passing later in 1874?
Notation 5: Share DNA matches with this person's known descendants.
Notation 6: Known ancestor of Carol on maternal side of her family tree.
