Also there's a probate record for an Alexander Howard filed in Scott County, Illinois. I have not come across info for his burial location, but it may be he was also buried in Canatsey Cemetery and his grave was unmarked or his headstone is too damaged/missing?

Also, per the story, it is uncertain on if Nesbit was his birth surname or if it was a surname passed along to him by one of the families that took him in/helped raise him. Another source shares parents, and siblings, for Thomas Nesbit.
